How this tool works

A preparation checklist for the ActewAGL offer, checked against the terms on 16 October 2026. It covers an ACT address, an active ActewAGL electricity account, existing insulation no higher than R2 and a concession, hardship or qualifying rental pathway. Unknown answers need checking. Evidence, an approved product, the installation and all other conditions still need confirmation.

An indicated upfront discount is capped at the lower of the quote or $2,000. The separate $600 bill credit is paid at $50 a quarter over 3 years and can cease if the electricity account closes. The ACT Government’s Home Energy Support has separate conditions. This tool does not decide entitlement or combine offers.

A conceptual building envelope: insulation slows heat flow; suitable seals reduce unwanted draughts. Required ventilation and combustion-air openings must stay clear. Use qualified help for roof-space work.
