How this tool works
Federal STCs use the installation-period factor at 100% for the first 14 usable kWh, 60% above 14 to 28 kWh and 15% above 28 to 50 kWh, rounded down to whole certificates. Multiply by the assumed certificate value and subtract the entered administration deduction. This is conditional on federal eligibility, including eligible equipment, a qualifying new installation, solar and an accredited installer; federal nominal capacity must be 5 to 100 kWh. The tool does not make an eligibility decision.
NSW incentive amounts vary by provider, so only the government incentive quoted by your provider is used after you confirm eligibility and no previous NMI claim. It may stack with the federal discount, but not every scheme or offer can be combined. No ongoing VPP export earnings, retailer bonuses, business or shared-apartment battery discounts are included.
Already-included discounts are displayed without subtracting them again. Later payments are separated from the installation invoice. ACT loans are repayable and are never counted as rebates. A package with solar or other appliances needs separate itemised support checks.
Confirm both programs and the payment timing before accepting a quote.

The first 14 kWh of usable capacity receive 100% of the factor, the next 14 kWh 60%, and the next 22 kWh 15%. Only the first 50 usable kWh can receive certificates.
The capacity bands do not all get the same factor.
